How does it work?

With PitstopHR, you can sign up for whatever suits you. We've got a number of different packages that we can offer, and you're also able to pay for things monthly. It is deliberately different and we won't tie you in for a long contract that does not work for your organisation.

What if I need more help than just from the PitStop documents?

We are a team of HR and employment law experts. We've got years of HR expertise from a wide variety of business sectors - we don't think that making things scary is helpful, so our documents are designed to give clear advice. If you need a one of problem to be solved - we have a Problem Solver bundle that you can purchase and for a fixed fee we will try and solve your HR query. If you are looking for more on-going HR support than we'd be happy to discuss this and you just have to contact our team

Why should I pick you?

We don't do jargon. Our template bank, guidance notes and flow charts are super practical and written in clear language. If you need advice beyond the subscription service - we have made our pricing transparent (it starts with our Problem Solver package). 

Why not have a look at our News section? There's loads there that could help you to understand HR and what you need to do as a business owner / manager. This way, you get to see a little bit of the know how that we also share every week. 

I just need helpful HR templates

If this sounds like something you need, then the Annual Subscription is for you. Your membership gives you access to our templates in our HR library. Within the HR library there are around 300 template documents that you can download and tailor to your needs. The best part about this, is that we've written the documents for you and highlighted the bits you need to fill in. 

I want my employees to know the rules

If you find that your employees are guessing what you want, following processes they did in previous jobs, or even just not doing things that you think should be common sense, it sounds to us like you need a Staff Handbook.

When you build a Staff Handbook with us we have included the essentials and this will then get tailored to your needs. 

Do I really need to give every employee a contract of employment?

From April 2020 having an employment contract is a "day one" right - so you really do need to give your employees a contract of employment. With our straightforward process getting the contracts drafted could not be easier.  All you have to do is fill in a short form, that takes around 5 minutes, and from here, we will draft your contract template. 

Once I've signed up to the annual subscription, what happens next?

When you've signed up to the annual subscription, you'll automatically have an account created for you. You get instant access to the HR library and the HR portal. 

I've bought the contract / handbook, what happens next?

When you've bought the contract or handbook package from us, you will get directed to a webform to complete for each one.

We've made this as simple as possible for you, and should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. But if you're really not sure what answers to give, then give us a ring and we will guide you through this. 

Once we've got all of your answers, we'll go through them and create you a bespoke contract / handbook based on what you've told us.

We'll send it over to you to review, and you just let us know if you want anything changed. When all the changes have been made, you've got yourself a lovely new contract / handbook to use! 

How do I pay for things?

You can buy everything you need from us online. Just pop your card details in and away you go! 

Can I pay monthly?

If you buy the annual subscription, you can pay monthly. If you add any of our other products on, then you can also pay for them monthly. 

Will I get a VAT receipt? 

Absolutely! That will be automatically sent to you following any payment you make to us. 

I've forgotten my password (oops!)

Don't worry. When you go to the login page, just click the link that says "oops, I've forgotten my password" and we'll send you a link to change your password. 

What if I've got a problem with the platform?
